    For most of us there is nothing we hate worst than being hung up on or someone being rude to us. Whether or not we deserve the rude behavior, we still do not enjoy the idea of people being rude to us. We deserve more respect than people give to us sometimes and we want to ensure that we give the same to the people we come in contact with. When we go out to eat or go to any local business looking for service we expect to be taken care of and served well. Even if we do not receive the best service or get what we were looking for, we, for the most part, are kind to the person that is trying to take care of us.

    In the self storing world the same is true. The Aylmer storage managers want to ensure that the people that they come in contact with are treated well and with respect. They know that they can not control the attitude of the behavior of the people that they serve, but they can be nice and courteous to them. In most cases you get what you deserve. So if you are very nice, thoughtful and considerate to people, they will return the sentiment.

They feel that they put their best foot forward and it got stepped on. This also means to them no lead to follow up on and a lost renter. When the manager asks for the name of the customer, the customer could just say no thank you and they will call back versus just the rudeness of hanging up on someone for just doing their job.
