Unfortunately this is not always the case. The reality of it is, the manager on site could be good at a number of things and maybe customer service is not a top one. They could be good at managing the property but freeze up when a customer enters their doors. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://canada.storage-mart.com/ontario/georgetown/armstrong" target="_blank"><strong>Marywood Meadows storage units</strong></a> are located in the great place of Ontario, Canada.  Self storage managers have some of the unique tasks of most managers in the management field.  They have to know many things and be able to perform them well and pretty fast too.  They must keep their self storage property clean and some of these properties are very big.  We have seen some properties with over a thousand storage units and a whole lot of real estates to go with it.  Keeping a property this big clean can be a very daunting task if one does not keep up.  For example of how much work there can be, we want to take you to Houston, Texas where a thousand unit storage facility sat right on one of the busiest highways in the entire State of Texas and Texas is huge.  It is the second biggest State in the United States of America.  Alaska is the biggest by size, but not population.  A lot of the storage unit doors faced the highway and the constant parade of cars on that road would make a very big mess of blown trash everywhere, car pollution, and the constant noise of cars whizzing by at sixty to eighty miles an hour.  People try to drive fast in Texas, and they may have a point, remember how big the place is.  Can a manager really keep up with a place like this that constantly has trash blowing on the property?  This was one of the toughest places to manage we ever saw and the manager team, a husband and a wife with two relief managers managed the whole property.  It took only four people to do this, and they did a great job handling everything that came along.  We used this self storage place to tell you that once in a while every roll up storage space door had to be cleaned.  They could get very dirty from the outside forces especially here in Houston,  Texas on a freeway.</p>
<p><a href="http://maps.google.ca/maps/place?hl=en&amp;georestrict=input_srcid:2a2e49f6c78b8987" target="_blank"><strong>Marywood Meadows storage units</strong></a> in the great place of Ontario, Canada are more mellow than this.  How in the world could this be done with four people working a very busy store?  When we went to visit this property, it was not in that bad of condition.  We could see all the trash blow from the freeway and onto the property, but these four people did a pretty good job of lessening the blow.  Every time they left the office, they picked some of the trash up.  They tried to wipe down twenty to fifty doors a day and they did every thing like that in small increments to try to keep up with everything they had to do.  Can you imagine if one hundred people moved out the same day, it can happen, and you had a hundred dirty self storage units to clean?  If you did not clean them and fifty more people moved out, well, you can see the point.  So the managers worked in small increments.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://canada.storage-mart.com/ontario/windsor/lauzon" target="_blank"><strong>Forest Glade storage units</strong></a> in the great place of Ontario,  Canada are doing well.  Every storage facility needs a good manager or a pair of good managers.  In the storage industry sometimes a managing team will be put in place and they manage as a team with no clear leader or one above the other.  Often it is a husband wife team, but most self storage places and companies are trying to get away from that for reasons we will discuss in later blogs.  In this blog, we will discuss some of the manager’s duties.  One of these tasks a manager should do once in awhile is a lock pull.  A lock pull is what it sounds like-you pull on locks to see if they are properly working and actually locked.  This is a very good thing to do, more than once a week, or in some cases, more than once a month.  We have seen some managers actually do this from their golf cart, but we suggest they walk the entire property, and tug on every lock, including locks on vacant units, property units and customer storage units too.  If a manager does a lock pull a couple times a week, he or she will have much more control and knowledge of the property.  Let us give a few examples of why lock pulls are so important to a manager and the company they work for.  Let us say a thief is on your property and he or she is a very smart thief, who knows the storage industry so well, and has seen this manager being lazy or the property is dirty, and other warning signs like that, that indicate to the potential thief that this particular manager does not care enough and stealing from him or her is easy pickings.  So the thief cuts a lock, takes things out of the storage unit he or she desires, than takes the cut lock and puts in back on the storage unit, and fits in it as to look like it is still on the storage unit correctly, and working.  He goes away.</p>
<p><a href="http://maps.google.ca/maps/place?hl=en&amp;georestrict=input_srcid:3dbff37bd842e079" target="_blank"><strong>Forest Glade storage units</strong></a> in the great place of Ontario, Canada, have managers we hope, that do lock pulls.  In the case above, if the manager of this storage facility does not do lock pulls; he or she will never know that a valued customer of his or her was robbed.  If the manager had done a lock pull he or she would have caught the cut lock, called the customer that moment and maybe some evidence could be found on who might have done it.  At least the manager knows that there might be problems on the property and keep his or her eyes more wide open.  All evidence is gone if weeks or even months go by and the manager has never done a lock pull.</p>
<p><strong>Forest Glade storage units</strong> in the great place of Ontario, Canada need good managers.  A good manager does lock pulls.  He or she does lock pulls to achieve control over his or her property.  Sometimes a customer is in a rush, and thinks they locked their lock, but they did not, so their storage unit is unlocked.  A lock pull can stop crime in this case.</p>

It would seem that when people go into an establishment they hope to receive great service and sometimes end up not getting what they expected. They would rather be happy with the product or service they got and decide if that is good enough to go back to deal with it again. There is very few times in which a customer will just deal with what is going instead of making a big deal about it. In fact there are some companies that have decide not to care so much about customer service and decide to care more about the product and service they are pushing out. To them the customer will buy their product no matter how bad they are treating their customers. In some cases those business are right. If they have marketing their product so well that the customer does need it then they do not have to provide them that great of customer service. In the self storage industry, the facility manager is what could make or break the customer deciding where to store their belongings.</p>

A preparation before such introduction of a monitoring system also brings the employees into confidence and negates any unnecessary fear among them regarding their employment.</p>
<p>It should be made known to the employees that any system introduced for call center quality assurance is not for taking them to task but to find ways of improving the service by identifying the areas that are found wanting. It may not always be the fault of the employees but also the fault of the system and planning that can be brought to light by such methods. Like any other business this also need to go through constant improvement. It should be kept in mind and also conveyed to the employees that the ultimate goal is to serve the customers to their satisfaction. It may not be always possible to satisfy each of them but it is no harm if the maximum can be satisfied.</p>
<p>An advantage of call center quality assurance is the ability to survey the interaction and customer response at the very moment an interaction has taken place. Just after a matter is reported and docketed the interactive voice response system is activated and a response of the customer is recorded. This cuts the time for analysis and gives a call by call account of the customer response. This is of great help as instead of waiting for weeks to get a report, a company can immediately take steps towards improvement on these instant reports.</p>
<p>So what should be the ways to deal with call center quality assurance ? First of the entire sample size should be large and that actually means monitoring almost all the employees. These employees should follow up each call they receive and this may be monitored by the managers and quality assurance personnel of the call center. Just telling them to do the job is a very vague term and the employees may not be very sure as what to do once the job is done. So it better to set them goals and ask them to be accountable for these. Most important of all, make sure that all the employees are judged on the same scale and this will not only ensure quality but also integrity among the employees.</p>
