1. The size of your storing facility is something that is often difficult to decide. If your commercial establishment is a small one, you probably do not have a logistics manager. This means you have to make all the decisions on how to pack and arrange the items within your unit. Some storeroom facilities will help you with this at no extra cost. The managers might even agree to come to your office space to check on the material you want to contain in the unit. You can, therefore, figure out your space requirements right at the outset, which will help you stick to your budget.
2. Optimizing storing space is something not everyone is good at. Therefore asking the mini storage management for help with this might be a good idea, especially if you are on a tight budget.  Most facilities provide good discounts if you purchase supplies from their in-house shop. Using these and with the guidance of your store manager, you can most certainly put together a very well organized unit. One of the things your manager help you realize  is how using the height of the unit is as important as the floor by installing racks and stands where possible.  Remember to keep the items you might need frequently closer to the exit and on the lower shelves so that they are easily accessible.
