Kent and Amanda were building their house, and they were on the very last leg of construction. They had been house hunting for almost a year in Quebec when they decided that instead of compromising to get a house that was already built they would just have a house built that had everything that they wanted. Kents main focus was the garage and the landscaping. He really wanted a garage that was big enough to have a work station and still be able to fit a car in there. He also liked when houses had good curb appeal so he wanted the outside to look as good as the house. Amanda on the other hand only cared about three things really. She wanted a wrap around porch, a huge bath tub, and an entire room devoted just as a library. A library that had nothing but wall to wall bookshelves and one of those ladders that you have to climb up to get to the top shelves like in the old movies that she loved to watch.

While they were commissioning their house they had a great offer on the house that they had lived in for the past ten years and they just could not pass up the offer and hope that something would come along when they were ready to move. So they went ahead and accepted the contract, moved most of their possessions into a Quebec storage unit and moved into the guest room of Amandas moms house. It was a little hard living in her moms house again, and trying to find things that they needed in their Quebec storage unit when they realized that they needed something.

The contractors were done two weeks ahead of schedule because the weather in Quebec had been so nice they were able to work a lot more days than they had expected. Amanda could not wait to move in. on the day that it finally came to move in they were at the Quebec storage unit bright and early. Kent of course teased Amanda that if they had fewer boxes of books inside the Quebec storage unit that it would probably take them half the time to move. Her motto of course was that you can never have too many books. It took a few days to unpack and move furniture around until everything was just right. Amanda saved her library for last to do because she could spend hours arranging her books, and this way Kent would have a place to go while she was putting together her library. They loved their new home and thought that building exactly what you want is the way to go.
