It is very convenient to have the unit come to you.  By having the unit delivered to you, it means that you do not have to find a friend who has a truck to help you move, and you do not have to rent a large vehicle to move.  By having the unit delivered to you, it also means that you can load it up at your leisure.  You do not have to rush to get everything on to a truck so that you do not have to pay extra fees to keep the truck longer.  It also means that when you are finished loading the unit that you do not have to haul it somewhere else.  All you have to do is simply call the company that you rented the portable Scarborough storage from, and ask them to come pick it up.  You also do not have to go through the hard work and the hassle of unloading all of your possessions at a traditional unit, which can take hours.  The physical effort of using portable Scarborough storage is much less than the effort of using traditional units.  And when you want to retrieve your items, instead of having to drive yourself or find a ride to your traditional unit, when you have a moveable unit, you just call the company and have them deliver it back to you.  You are free to go through your items on your own time.  You can keep it for a few hours, or even days.  When you are finished you just have to call the company to ask them to pick it back up.  It is a great option to save time and effort on your part.

There are some characteristics that are not so great though.  When you have a traditional unit, you can visit it any time.  Most traditional units offer twenty four hour access.  When you have a moveable unit, you must wait for the company to deliver it on their time during their business hours.  There may also be a charge any time that you have that company pick up or deliver the unit.  In addition to that, it may be a violation of your city or neighborhood policy to keep the unit overnight on your property.  And of course, traditional units often have superior security measures such as fences, alarms, and video camera surveillance, but when the unit is in your driveway overnight, it does not have those measures protecting it. 

Portable Scarborough storage can be a great option, but it does have some negative characteristics.  Be sure to fully investigate it before you make your final decision about what kind of unit you would like to have.
