Monstrous Parking Needs
-
My husband is a very adventurous man. He loves to just get in the car and take off on random destinations. He is a little bit of an adrenalin junkie also. If you can jump off of it or repel off of it, more than likely he has done it. I did draw the line at running from giant bulls who want to trample you, but other that that I let him do what he wants. One day while I was cleaning the house my husband said that he was going to go see some of his friends. I did not think much of this until he called and said he was going to be a little later than he thought. I kept on cleaning the house and let it go. A few hours went by and I was done cleaning and had started cooking dinner when I heard a horn blowing from outside. We live on a busy street so I let it go. A few minuets later I heard the horn again. I let it go again because I thought it was just some teenagers being stupid. Then I heard the horn a third time and it just kept on going. So I went to the window to see who was out there and there was my husband waving and yelling at me to come outside. I go outside and I see a RV, my husband, and his friend Ben. I thought to myself what has he done now. He proceeds to tell me what a great deal he got on this RV from a man who was moving and could not take it with him so he was just looking for someway to get rid of it. My crazy husband of course jumped at the chance and Ben and he drove it home.
They had already planed a boys trip to the ocean and for some snorkeling. After twenty minuets of listening to my husband rattle off his plans and trips that he was planning I was finally able to get in a word. I did have a few questions but the first one was the most important. Where did he plan on parking an RV? As I have already stated we live on a busy street and our dive way is not very long. We had just enough room to park our cars and we definitely could not have room for an RV. He of course had not thought that far ahead. After thinking about our options we decided to look into the local RV storage units. We looked online so that we could find which storage companies provided RV parking spots. We found three companies that offered RV parking and looked into each unit. The first unit was a across town so we looked at it but were not really excited about how far it was from our home. The second storage company was a clean facility and was a top runner. The third RV storage unit was good but it was not as good as the second one. So we went back to the second unit and rented a spot. Now my husband has his RV and it has a place to be parked when not in use. Now if I could just get him to fix the drip in the sink.
