Packrats Love Their Storage Units

Keelesdale storage units located in the great place of Ontario, Canada have everything.  We know this for a fact because we had a friend who worked in the self storage industry and he had everything too.  He was what we call a jack-of-all-trades and fixed things for a large self storage company.  He fixed gates and the computers that let people punch in codes to get in their units.  When customers or outside people ran their trucks or cars right into the gates, he fixed them.  If customer’s storage unit doors were stuck, or too loose or too stiff or tight to open, he fixed them.  He put the entire security systems in a whole bunch of self storage places and made them work.  He put electrical outlets in buildings and wired up every single storage unit so the connections went from there, to the manager computer inside the office.  He fixed plumbing and potholes.  He fixed everything a manager could ever or needed to be fixed.  He also painted and kept up each building in the company he could get to.  He traveled all the time and that is how we met this man.  We met him in Chicago, Illinois in the United States of America.  We were running a rather large self storage place that was brand new, but still needed things to finish it up.  He was tweaking and putting it all together.  We became great friends over the years and we always helped each other out in certain situations.  The title of this blog is he finds everything because the way the self storage industry works is that if a person or customer can not or does not want to pay his storage rent bill anymore, he or she can abandon the storage unit to the self storage company.

Keelesdale storage units in the great place of Ontario, Canada have junk like this in their storage units.  You have to do something with all this junk left by customers and it was a perfectly correct and legal thing to do.  A manager must go in these storage units and look around to see what is it them.  These storage units come up sometimes fairly often and one can not have a lot of them taking up so much room on your property.  Our friend has been to many many abandoned self storage units and has collected much stuff.  He started giving stuff to us.  One day he came to the office and gave us four shovels.  We do not need four shovels, but we took them.  He came to the office one day and gave us two big spray metal containers to use when you spray insecticide.  We still have them in our garage.  We have telescopes, rakes, wire, rope and all kinds of tools customers left behind on our properties.  After a while, we had to give them up.

Keelesdale storage units in the great place of Ontario, Canada have junk too.  You can sell them at public auctions on your site to get rid of the junk, but sometimes they do not sell.  We sold one of them one time for fifty cents just to get rid of the junk.  We do not need any more shovels in our garage.
