McKenzie Towne storage units in Alberta, Canada are many sizes.  We will talk about three sizes here, a five by ten, a ten by ten, and a ten by twenty.  Let us start with a five by ten storage unit.  A storage unit is a specific size space used to put things in.  We all have too much stuff and some people rent these units to store things that they can be without in their daily lives, but they want to hang on for other reasons.  Some are things they think they will use again one day.  Some things cost them a lot of money to replace, even though they might not be needed today.  Some things are broken and to replace them would cost a lot, so we save them hoping for a miracle.  Some parts you can not get again or they are not made anymore, so we save them.  We save things we think might be worth a lot of money one day, or we will pass them onto future generations for them to enjoy.  Sometimes we move to a smaller place and need storage for stuff we want to keep.  A five feet by ten feet unit can hold a number of things, but maybe not enough for an entire house or apartment.  We will use the United States of America measuring units because we are not good at converting.  We have never been good at converting these things.  We tried in school many moons ago, but it seemed that we kids could not figure it out.  We American are conditioned to think in feet and yards and miles and all the other.  Even when we watch the Olympics on TV, we struggle with meters and things like that.  Scientists use these measurements all the time, even in the United States of America, so why we do not convert for all of us, well, we do not know for sure, but we gave up the idea a long time ago.

McKenzie Towne storage units in Alberta, Canada have ten by ten storage units too.  These are very popular size storage units as they can hold quite a bit of stuff, for a not too bad of a price.  Of course, all these sizes are based too on high the storage units are.  Most we have seen our eight feet high or lower.  Taller ones can hold more things if you want to pile things on each other, or stack boxes on each other.  Most experts agree on though to stack your boxes only six high as to stop damage to them.  They can be knocked over too much easier, and might hurt someone you do not want to hurt.  A wife can get very mad if three boxes fall on top of her while she is looking for an iron or something.  It is temping though to stack those boxes pretty high.

McKenzie Towne storage units in Alberta, Canada have boxes and boxes stacked high.  The customer savers money and needed spaces too.  A manager can only suggest, but some customers may not believe them, for money reasons, but we think most self storage managers do not do such things.  They do not want to cause a customer to hurt himself or herself due to bad advice.  It would not look good.

  • Save Your Memories with Self Storage

When people think of Ontario, they think of Toronto.  Toronto is a vibrant city with a great reputation of a place to live and work.  Many movies are made here because Hollywood costs more to make movies.

The Berkshire Village storage facilities are waiting for us to go to pick up things before our journey through Canada.  My old collage friend moved to Toronto some time ago, and I finally made it up to see him.  He loves Canada and cannot wait to show me around.  I have been too busy with my own life to visit him, but now I have the time to do it.

The Berkshire Village storage place looks just like the ones in the United States.  Matter of fact, Canada looks like the United States a lot.  We are next door to each other of course, and I am thinking Toronto resemble where I live right now, Chicago.  They even film movies about Chicago in Toronto and it looks like Chicago.

Big cities are big cities and I am partial to my big city.  I can be stubborn of course, and loyal to Chicago, but I will try to keep an open mind about the whole thing.  I will not bring up health care, taxes, guns, or Michael Moore.  I will not bring up the Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup last year.  I will not bring up our football is better than their football.  What is with the three downs anyway?  Too much passing.  Traffic and French and Hockey teams doing badly, no, I will not mention all that.

Snow is pretty in unspoiled land, and snowmobiles are very fun, this we know.  I have seen snow all my life.  We do not need feet of snow to have fun.  Hunting and fishing can be cool, I like guns. I can shoot guns in Chicago too.  The bad thing though is people will shoot guns back at you in Chicago.

Crime is lower here in Canada.  The Berkshire Village storage places have never been broken into and everything is safer here.  The snow is cleaner from the sky.  Jobs are everywhere.  Canada needs people to work because it is booming here and sometimes there are more jobs than people.  If you want to work, come here.  That is all good.  I want people to work, eat, and have clothes.  No recession here.  I see big buildings, cars, snow, ice, and places to eat.  I see a Chinatown just like the ones in New York and Chicago.  I like movies very much, even ones faking to be Chicago, but they are really filmed here.  I love hockey, a game in Toronto would be great.  I would love to go.  We have tickets.  I feel better now.  I want to do that.  I will go snowmobiling.  Ice fishing?  Why not?  I will not freeze?  It is warm inside the little huts we stay in.  Ok.  We can catch up on our lives while we ice fish.  That sounds OK too.  We can hit the nightlife in the big city, drink beer, and talk to women from a different country?  That sounds good too.  I feel better now.  Is a week not enough time?  Should I stay longer?  Let us get out of the Berkshire Village storage place right now.

It is easy to find quality Collingwood storage units if you know what to look for. The process should be created and followed very precisely in order to find the best of the best. Making a bunch of thirty second phone calls will not get the job done because you are only getting the monthly rate and then moving on. This is a terrible way to shop for a storage space. First of all, the cheapest place in town probably is not going to be very safe. In fact, the only reason they are cheaper is probably because they have not spent a lot of money on security and other things to keep the facility looking new and nice. Their units might leak leading to water damage.

One thing that a lot of potential tenants are not aware of is that most Collingwood storage units properties will require that you have some type of insurance. This could be homeowners or renters insurance, both of which would qualify to fulfill the need for coverage for your belongings while they are in storage. If you do not have either, you should be able to pick up coverage for your things from the site itself. Most properties will have plans that will cover your things while they are in storage. It is not something that you probably want to think about, but you will be glad that your things are covered if you come to that place. There could be fires or other natural disasters that are simple unavoidable no matter what precautions the site is going to take.

When you are looking for Collingwood storage units and you are not sure where to start, the best thing to do is to get the phonebook out, or better yet, get on the internet. With the internet, you should be able to get a view of your local area on an overhead map and see what sites are going to be close to your home or workplace. This will allow you to pick a few spots to call to inquire about storage. You should pick no more than ten locations and no less than five. This will give you a good pool of stores to call.

When you call for Collingwood storage units and get someone on the phone that is at the local office, you should go with the flow and let them tell you what they have to offer. After the process is done, which should only take a few minutes, you should have a price and some other info and then you can ask some other questions that you were curious about. You should ask about any set up costs, such as admin fees, deposits, locks, and insurance. You should also find out about the security that the site has in place to insure that you will be safe along with your belongings while you are a tenant of Collingwood storage units or anywhere.

Now that you have a few tips, the time has come to pick up the phone and start dialing. If you have selected the ideal less than ten number, then you should have no problem in making the necessary calls in under an hour. This is an hour that is well spent because it will lead to you finding the absolute best deal for your money.
