Glen Grove storage units in Ontario, Canada have broken items in them.  This is caused from bad packing or not so gentle movers.  In our last blog on this subject, we talked about how important it is to pack the things you love very well.  Now we will talk about what items you may buy at a lot of storage places to make your move better, safer, and less stressful.  The first item we always tell people they should buy is covers for your bed.  Mattresses are so important and so many people do not, or will not buy them.  We know they are not very cheap to buy if you have four or five beds to cover up.  They can range from eight dollars to twelve or thirteen dollars per cover in American dollars.  A lot of families do not want to spend near fifty bucks on covers for beds.  Please do it.  We have thrown out hundreds of beds and mattresses in our long career in the storage industry.  We are experts at lifting mattresses and beds and carrying them to the dumpster, and flipping them inside.  We also had many storage units we had to use on our properties to hold these beds and try to get rid of later.  Brand new mattresses that people refused to buy covers for are now in the dump.  Beds can collect germs like no other item in your house.  People have gotten very sick from sleeping on a dirty mattress or bed, some have died.  This is a very serious matter as you can now see.  Cover your beds if you are moving them, and especially if you are storing them for any length of time.  A new bed could cost up to a thousand dollars American money to buy and an eight-dollar cover could have prevented the damage.  Beds can get wet from moisture in the air, rain, and any other kind of water damage that may occur.  Again, we have thrown away many beds that had water damage done to them.  Do not be next, if you are thinking of moving soon.  Moving cost money, accept it.

Glen Grove storage units in the great country of Canada have wet mattresses in them at some point.  It is pretty sad and disappointing when you open up your self storage unit and your mattress or bed is all messed up.  They can smell bad pretty quick too in a self storage space after a while.  Heat causes humidity and humidity causes items to get wet.  While we were managing a self storage place in Florida, Key West to be exact, we must have thrown away fifty beds due to moisture.  Do not be one of these people to experience that.  It will be time to buy a new bed if you do.

Glen Grove storage units in Ontario, Canada have beds in them that are not doing so well.  They have no covers on them.  They will be damaged more than not, and we know the managers have warned the customers.  We warned ours all the time, and as a manager, if you are not selling bed covers, you are doing something wrong.  It is not just the sale, but it is helping your customers.
